WHY THE USA

Why students choose the USA

  • Merit scholarships

Many US universities award large merit scholarships — sometimes full tuition — and a strong SAT score is often the key.

  • Flexible degrees

Explore subjects before choosing a major, and combine fields in ways other systems don't allow.

  • Work after graduating

OPT lets graduates work in their field for 12 months — up to 36 months for STEM degrees.

ONE TEAM

Everything from shortlist to arrival.

One counsellor handles your whole journey, so nothing falls between a university, an agent and a travel agency.

  • 1-on-1 US college application mentorship (DSAT School)
  • SAT, IELTS & Duolingo preparation
  • ECA, honours & profile building
  • Essays & application crafting
  • Scholarship & financial-aid strategy
  • F-1 visa interview preparation

Not included: tuition and living costs, application and visa fees paid to universities and embassies, and the financial proof shown for the visa.

ELIGIBILITY

Who can apply

  • BACHELOR'S

IELTS 6.5–7.0 / Duolingo 115+ · SAT 1500+ strongly helps scholarships; activities and essays matter.

  • MASTER'S

    Bachelor's, CGPA 3.00+

IELTS 6.5–7.0 / TOEFL 90+ · Some programs ask for the GRE or GMAT.

Documents we'll help you prepare

  • Passport & photos
  • SSC & HSC / O & A-level certificates, marksheets
  • English test result (IELTS / Duolingo / TOEFL)
  • Common App essay or personal essay
  • Activity list & honours
  • Sponsor's bank statements & income proof
  • SAT score report
  • Teacher recommendations
  • Form I-20 & SEVIS fee receipt
  • Statement of purpose & CV (Master's only)

Typical starting points — every university and course sets its own rules.

FINANCIAL PROOF

The I-20 needs proof of 1.5 years' costs.

Before issuing your I-20, the university checks you can pay about 1.5 years of costs after scholarships. Tuition and living often run USD 40,000–80,000 a year (≈ ৳49–98 lakh) before aid — roughly USD 60,000–120,000 (≈ ৳73 lakh–1.46 crore) for 1.5 years. A strong scholarship can reduce this a lot.

Do

Keep 6 months of steady statements, tax papers and a clear source of funds.

Avoid

Sudden large deposits, unexplained money and last-minute paperwork.

LIFE IN THE USA

Work, housing and what comes after.

  • On-campus work

F-1 students can usually work on campus up to 20 hours a week during term.

  • Housing

Most first-year students live in university dorms.

  • After graduation

OPT allows 12 months of work in your field — up to 36 months for STEM graduates.
