WHY THE UK

Why students choose the UK

  • Shorter degrees

A Master's in one year means less time and fewer living costs abroad.

  • Recognised everywhere

UK degrees are understood by employers in Bangladesh and around the world.

  • Foundation routes

A foundation year can open a Bachelor's if your grades need a step up.

FINANCIAL PROOF

The 28-day rule decides many visas.

You show your remaining first-year tuition plus living costs — £1,483 a month in London (≈ ৳2.4 lakh) or £1,136 elsewhere (≈ ৳1.85 lakh), for up to nine months — held for 28 consecutive days.

Do

Keep 6 months of steady statements, tax papers and a clear source of funds.

Avoid

Sudden large deposits, unexplained money and last-minute paperwork.

LIFE IN THE UK

Work, housing and what comes after.

  • Part-time work

Degree students can usually work up to 20 hours a week during term and full-time in official vacations.

  • Accommodation

University halls for the first year are the easiest start; shared houses after that.

  • After graduation

The Graduate Route lets you stay and work after your degree; the UK has announced it will shorten for new applicants, so check the current length.
